Thank You
Thank you for everything you do! I have to say what a wonderful husband I have. Tom has been so great through everything! I know more than ever how much he loves me because no one else would have ever done the things he's had to do for me! He never complains and is always asking what he can do for me, or get for me, or what do I need. When I get discouraged because of something I can't do or how long the healing process is taking, he always sits next to me or takes my hand and tells me it won't last forever. I love you! My whole family has been so wonderful! The kids have been such great helpers, taking up the slack and doing all of the things I can't do. My Gracie, who checks on me every 5 minutes to see if I'm doing OK. Hayden, who showers me with hugs and kisses. Amanda who helps me do everything when Tom isn't here, who I will miss terribly when she goes to Texas. Tanner, my sweet 13 year old who rubs my feet and even gave me a pedicure. I love you all, thank you!

Just the Girls
Thanks for posting all these pictures for me Juli! Girl's Weekend was a blast! Robyn and Marissa came up from AZ and Chris came with Gabi and Lizzy. Aubri came from AZ again, and Marilyn came too. I'm so glad you guys wouldn't let me stay home! (I broke my leg just below the knee and had been home from the hospital for two weeks.) Aliselyn made those adorable purses for all the girls. I look forward to this weekend as much as Education Week! The girls talk about it all year long. We shopped, made cute magnet boards, fun fur flip flops, swam, ate out, talked, laughed, went to the movies, stayed up late... it was so much fun! Everyone was so great because I needed LOTS of help!!!

Alisa's 4 Wheeling Trip
I fell off our porch in Lyman while I was helping Tom bring in a tub-shower surround and broke my leg. My first broken bone! It broke at the tibial plateau in 3 places. According to the doctor, my break was a 6. On a scale from 1-6, 6 being the worst. I have 2 plates and 11 screws. This was right after they removed the staples. This was at the hotel, Cafe Rio, the mall, and Tai Pan (my new favorite store) I had to take my wheelchair everywhere and realized how many places are not handicap friendly! Everyone was so awesome!!! It took us twice as long everywhere we went- getting me in and out of cars and into the wheelchair. I don't know what everyone will do for fun next year, without the handicap girl to make fun of!!
